Orders are now open for Christmas.

These items are only available for: 

  • Christmas Postal: 

Shipping Out - Tuesday 17th December

(sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, with delivery estimated to take 2-3 working days (including Saturdays)).

  • Christmas Pickup: 

Saturday 21st December: 9.00-15.00;

Sunday 22nd December: 10.00-15.00;

Monday 23rd December: 8.00-11.00.

  • Christmas Free Local Delivery:

Saturday 21st December: Postcodes: M6, M8, M11, M18-M21, M25, M27, M28, M30, M32, M41, M43, M44, OL6-OL8, SK6, SK14-SK16. 

Sunday 22nd December: Postcodes: CW7-CW10, M23, M33, M34, SK1-SK5, SK7, SK8, SK12, WA13-WA16.

Christmas orders close 9am on Wednesday 11th December.

Ordering:

How far in advance can I order?

Easily order for all available pickup, postal, or free local delivery dates within the current calendar month. Our ordering system operates on a month-by-month basis.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order.

Why can't I choose to receive my order any day of the week?

To ensure the success of my small business, I designate specific baking days each week. As a sole baker, this strategy allows me to offer a diverse selection of freshly baked goods. If you need cakes on days when pickup and delivery services are unavailable, you can find our products at various stockists.

why haven't I received an order confirmation?

You will get an email confirmation when you've placed your order. If you haven't received this please check your email junk/spam folder, if it’s not there, you may have entered your email address incorrectly on your order. Just drop us an email if you would like the order confirmation resending to you.

can I amend or cancel my order?

Orders can be amended, subject to stock levels, or cancelled up until 9:00am on the Wednesday before your order is due. If you cancel after this time, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the order. Please email as soon as possible should you wish to amend or cancel your order.

how do I pay for my order?

Payment is by credit or debit card on ordering. You can also pay with PayPal or in instalments with PayPal Pay Later.

do you have a refund policy?

As our products are food and cannot be resold once they’ve been dispatched from us, we cannot refund your order unless there is an exceptional circumstance, eg. if your bakes are totally squashed/damaged upon arrival then we will look at placing a claim through Royal Mail (obviously boxes are in perfect condition when they leave us so we will attempt to claim through them to refund you).  If an address is incorrect, we can’t be held responsible once the parcel leaves us and we will not refund for this mistake.

How long are specials available for?

Special flavours change each calendar month.

why does an item say sold out?

Although everything is baked fresh to order, I can only bake a certain amount each week, therefore once that limit is reached the item will show as sold out. If something is sold out, then please check back on the next restock. The online store gets restocked every Wednesday evening.

It is recommended to be on the online store on restock day to guarantee you to get what you want, depending on how busy we are will depend on how long the items are available for (for example weeks like Valentine’s, Easter and Christmas sell out much quicker than a normal week).

How do I send as a gift?

When ordering a cake as a gift, please follow these instructions:

  1. Leave a personalised gift message at checkout. Include your name unless it's intended as an anonymous gift.

  2. The invoice will be automatically excluded from any order with a gift message.

  3. Provide the recipient's name and address as the delivery address.

  4. Include the recipient's mobile telephone number for delivery updates to ensure they're available to receive their cakes. If sending orders to multiple addresses, place them as separate orders for each delivery address.

how long are Digital gift cards valid for?

Digital gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

How will my items arrive?

All items are individually packaged and labelled before being carefully packed into one of our delivery boxes. Treat boxes and gift boxes have items presented in a gift box, unpackaged, with labelling on the box, before being packed into a delivery box.

 

How do I receive my order?

Order from our online store and choose between convenient options: pick up your items from our base on Fridays, enjoy local delivery on Saturdays, or opt for UK Nationwide postal for selected items shipping out on Thursdays.

How does order pickup work?

Pickups are contactless and can be made from the front porch at 6 Silver Close, Dukinfield, SK16 4XD. Scheduled time slots between 11.30-17:00 on Fridays are available, with the option to select a slot at checkout.

What happens if I am late for my pickup time slot?

Kindly inform us if you anticipate running late for your pickup. As a home-based business, we operate by appointment only and do not have a physical storefront. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, we will do our best to accommodate an alternative time slot based on our availability around other bookings.

 

Postal Delivery:

How does postal delivery work?

UK Nationwide postal delivery is available for select items, starting from £3.50. Only items listed in the 'Postal Items' category of the online store can be delivered via postal service. Parcels are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 48 on Thursdays, the tracking number will be sent to you upon dispatch. 

What day will my parcel arrive?

We ship out parcels on a Thursday with Royal Mail Tracked 48. They aim to deliver within 2-3 working days (including Saturdays).

my postal order hasn't arrived within 48 hours, what should I do?

Whilst Royal Mail Tracked 48 aim to deliver within 2-3 working days (including Saturdays), during busier periods there may be a small delay. All of the baked goods are individually wrapped for freshness to allow for a slight delay in your delivery. We will not be offering refunds for delayed delivery.
If you have any issues with your order, then please let us know after 5 working days have passed. If an item is lost or states ‘delivered’ when we check the tracking but you don’t have the goods, we will put a claim in with Royal Mail and will update you when we have a response from them.

Why aren't all items available to order for postal delivery?

We'd love to post out all the bakes we have available, but some will not survive the journey and arrive in good condition. The last thing we want is for you to receive your bakes in poor condition! A select few have too short a best before date or are too fragile to be posted out. Only the items in the 'Postal Items' category of the Online Store can be posted.

Free Local Delivery:

How does free local delivery work?

Free local deliveries are scheduled for Saturdays between 7.30-16.00, subject to coverage in your area. By Thursday, you'll receive an approximate one-hour delivery window. Specific time requests aren't accommodated. You'll be notified via text when I'm en-route; ensure a mobile number is provided at checkout. If unavailable, packages will be left securely. I'm not liable for missing orders post-delivery. Delivery address changes after Wednesday may be challenging.

what if I'm not home for my local delivery?

We can leave your order in a sealed plastic bag in a safe place of your choice. Please specify the preferred location in the order comments at checkout.

What areas are covered by free local delivery?

We generally cover Stockport and Tameside every Saturday. Additionally, on specific Saturdays:

  • First Saturday of the month: In & around Romiley, Urmston.

  • Second Saturday of the month: In & around Altrincham, Knutsford, Northwich.

  • Third Saturday of the month: In & around Chorlton, Didsbury, Wilmslow.

  • Last Saturday of the month: In & around Salford.

​Allergens, Best Before dates and storage:

How long will the items keep?

Best before dates vary depending on the item, and information is provided on the individual item descriptions for informed decision-making before ordering. Additionally, items come with best before labelling on them.

How should  store my items?

Storage information is available on the online store item listing and is also provided on the label of the product upon arrival. 

Can I freeze my items?

Some items can be frozen, in their packaging, for up to a month. Each online store listing provides information about this under the 'Best Before and Storage Information' tab.

do you cater for people with allergens and intolerances?

We have some items that are made without dairy, egg, gluten, nuts, soya. These can be found in their own categories on the online store. Full ingredient and allergen information is also provided on the product listings and labels.

Please note though, that all items are made in the same kitchen using the same equipment, so there may be a small risk of cross contamination.​​​
